Through its collaboration with the Veteran Tickets Foundation, the world’s largest live entertainment business, Live Nation, has announced that it has given out more than two million tickets to members of the armed forces community (Vet Tix). Live Nation has been a partner with Vet Tix since 2014, and the company continues to be its primary benefactor.

Michael Rapino, the CEO and President of Live Nation Entertainment, said that it was an honour to be able to provide veterans with the chance to experience the transformative power of live music. “Live Nation is quite pleased with our cooperation with Vet Tix, and we want to maintain our support in any way we can.”

Live Nation and Ticketmaster often provide tickets to a wide variety of concerts, including those of country, pop, rock, and hip-hop music as well as other music genres, as well as sports and family entertainment, Broadway productions, and more. Ticketmaster developed specialised ticketing software as part of Live Nation’s expanding commitment to this effort. The goal of this software was to make the Vet Tix platform easier to use for veterans, artists, promoters, and venues.

Michael A. Focareto III, a veteran of the United States Navy and the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Vet Tix, said that “the support and enthusiasm for the Vet Tix mission by the teams at Live Nation and Ticketmaster has been critical to our success and the return to normal for so many.” “For VetTixers, Live Nation’s donation of more than two million tickets means an infinite supply of smiles and memories,” Their support, in many cases, also helps veterans, service members, and first responders cope with challenges related to their service, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), isolation, and community reintegration, all of which lead to positive experiences that can be had by attending concerts with family and friends. We owe them an incalculable amount of gratitude.”

Vet Tix is the preeminent non-profit organisation on a national scale that offers free event tickets to members of the armed forces who are currently serving, veterans who have been honourably discharged, immediate family members of service members who have been killed in the line of duty, and current and former members of the first response community. It was established in 2008 with the mission of “giving back” to those who have given so much to our country by procuring and distributing tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts, educational and family activities across the nation to military members, veterans, first responders, and their families. Those who have served our country in the armed forces, in the police force, or in the fire department are eligible for these tickets. With over 1.8 million members, there is an infinite amount of memories that have been formed, life-changing events that members have had, and appreciative members.

Those individuals who are qualified may sign up for a free account with Vet Tix in order to obtain tickets. After their service has been validated, they will be able to establish their event preferences and will thereafter be alerted via email whenever tickets to a nearby event that meets their requirements become available for purchase. The next step is for members to request tickets, which is often done by a lottery. In the event that they are chosen, Vet Tix will provide the tickets to them.

Live Nation works hard to help veterans in a variety of different ways, in addition to donating tickets when possible. Live Nation’s workers who have served in the military are represented by the employee resource organisation known as Hero Nation. This employee resource group is committed to establishing an atmosphere that is supportive and progressive for its workers who have served our nation and their families by concentrating on access to tools and opportunities for career growth.
