The tech giant Apple is not expected to remodel the ordinary “Apple Watch Series 8,” since the “Pro” model, which has been said to be in the works, would get more major changes.
According to AppleInsider, a Twitter leaker with the name of ShrimpApplePro seems to have gotten information on the final manufacture of the “Apple Watch Series 8.”
Even though the identity of the leaker is unknown, it seems that the person in question has access to at least one of the sealed boxes that the new gadgets will be sent in.
“Shrimp” claims that the design of the “Apple Watch Series 8” will not change from that of the “Apple Watch Series 7” and will not have any enhancements. It will be available in casings made of aluminium and stainless steel, with dimensions of 41 mm and 45 mm respectively.
It would seem that the colours available for the aluminium will be restricted to Midnight, Starlight, Product(RED), and Silver. Graphite and silver are two of the colours that are available for stainless steel. Notable omissions from this list include the colours blue and green.
Even the ordinary model of the Apple Watch won’t be able to get its hands on the titanium variant. This suggests that the rumoured “Pro” watch may be constructed out of titanium and come in a variety of colour variations.
“Shrimp” is a reference to the box that they now have, in which it is said that the box is sealed with stronger glue. Because of this, it is more difficult for resellers to pass worn items off as brand new.
It seems that mass manufacturing of the gadgets will begin in August, making it probable that they will be released in September. On the other hand, it may just be conjecture.
